Isn't he gorgeous?

I should have waited to post this picture for a Wordless Wednesday but I couldn't wait. He's so sweet.

Anyway, a lot has been going on over the past two weeks and it only looks to get a bit busier. Here's a quick update on how things are going.

I had my second round of glucose screening on Thursday. I failed the first time. Well... not so much as failed, but I couldn't keep down the sugary concoction so I had to start all over on a different day. This time I was able to hold it all in and I passed the test with flying colors.

While I was at the appointment I was able to set up Carter's birthday. That's right folks. We have an official birthday (unless he makes plans of his own - and I've given him strict instructions not to). Little Carter will arrive on January 18, 2011 a little after 10:30 a.m.

Dr. Snowden asks me every time I'm in the office if I'm still wanting to have a repeat cesarean. I give him the evil eye, then he reviews my chart. "Oh yeah, 10 lbs. - 5 oz., you had a big baby last time. We'll go ahead and schedule that c-section."

So there it is. Mark your calendars. It's kind of nice having everything planned out. We know the sex, his name, the date... If we're not prepared for this one then we have serious problems.

In other news - Christopher is officially 2 and a half years old. And I'm officially 29. We had a small celebration this weekend with cake. That's was about all we could do since Christopher and I both have colds. Again.

But this kid is growing - he's learned to blow his nose. Which is a HUGE milestone in my book. Instead of following him around all day with tissues and a nasal aspirator, I just have to remind him to blow his nose every once and a while. Big, BIG achievement.

Well that's it for now. I'll have some more updates later this week what with Uncle Super Chicken's graduation and Halloween. Plus both Gaga and Gran-Bob will be in town. Lots to do! Lots to do!
