A Break

I know, I know, it's been way too long since I've been on here. Times are tough right now. With my upcoming conference at the end of the month I haven't had much time to brush my teeth let alone blog. It upsets me that I can't get on her with an update as often as I would like. I think about this site everyday. And well, everyday passes until it's a month since I've posted.

I was thinking about this site yesterday after I came home from a trip to D.C. with Christopher for my sister's baby shower. It turns out that while I was gone for five days, Carter sprouted a tooth. FINALLY!

We have been waiting for these teeth to come in forever. He's constantly chewing on things. He's been chewing on his hand since the day he was born. I just can't believe it's taken eight months for the first one to come in.

Carter is such a big boy. He's really trying to crawl. Any day now, I keep saying. He turns like a clock extremely well. He pivots on his stomach clockwise all day long. And you can tell he really wants to move. Especially in the direction of the cats.

Carter's also finally sleeping through the night again. He did it on his own around four months and then stopped around five months. We starting ferberizing him in August and he's finally gotten the idea again. That doesn't stop him though from snoring like an elephant. I've never heard such a loud sleeping child before.

Christopher has also had some adventures in the past month. For starters, he fell down a flight of stairs this weekend. He received a nice shiner and some rug burn under his right eye as a door prize.

Unrelated, we've also discovered that he's becoming cross-eyed. He has an appointment with the doctor tomorrow to see if or what should be done. I honestly thought he was doing it on purpose at first. But today he's looked at me several times, cross-eyed. And I don't think he knows he's doing it. We'll see. I'm not jumping to any conclusions yet.

I'll try and post some more pictures later this week of recent happenings. Unfortunately, until my conference is over this month I won't have much time for anything else.

I'll see again soon!
