Welcome

This family blog was started in 2007 when we discovered our family was growing from a size 2 to a size 3. It is dedicated to Christopher, Carter and Charlie in hopes that one day when they have families of their own they can look back and see all the smiles they gave to the people closest to them.

About Us:

Momma

Sarah, was born October 23, 1981. After spending her first 17 years next to the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland she traveled to South Carolina for college and in December of 2003 she moved for a short while to Kentucky before finally landing in St. Louis.

Dadda

Brian was born June 11, 1974. Brian has spent the majority of his life living near the St. Louis Arch. After broadcasting school he spent a few years with his family in Atlanta, Georgia but soon found himself back to the place he knows the best - St. Louis.

A Growing Family

Sarah and Brian met in June 2005 and were engaged three months later. They were married the following September. Since then they've been living the American dream with a mortgage, two kids, a dog, and two cats.

Christopher

Christopher Decker was born on April 22, 2008 weighing in at 10 lbs., 5 oz. and measuring 23 inches long. The little Earth Day Baby is named after Brian's best friend, Chris Brothers who passed away in a car accident a few years ago. Decker comes from a long line in Sarah's family but he was specifically named after Sarah's brother, William Decker. Christopher's current obsession is video games, Legos, and drawing faces.

Carter

Carter Duke was born on January 18, 2011 weighing in at 9 lbs., 1 oz. and measuring 20.25 inches long. This snow baby was named after Sarah's grandmothers' maiden names: Ruth Carter and Marian Dukes. Carter's current obsessions are babies, Toy Story and Minions.

Charlie

Charlie Ann Christine was born on June 24, 2014 weighing 7 lbs., 6 oz. and measuring 21 inches long. Charlie wasn't named after anyone specific but instead given a name that we thought would be fun and tough at the same time (she's got two older brothers, ya know). The runt of the family showed up at 38 weeks and has been making her voice heard from day one. Her current obsession is keeping Mom and Dad up all night long.
